Product Development Coordinator
COMPANY
L&R Distributors is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support the creation of new products and maintaining existing programs for customers. This role requires an understanding of consumer product development and retail customers. The Product Development Coordinator works closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to ensure product is developed on time, driving customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the pre-production sample process end to end, including the receipt of samples from domestic and international vendors through to providing to customers
- Owns the launch process, kicking off the Product Development process for all new product and programs
- Supports the Product Development Manager in the creation of new products to meet quality and customer expectations, including working directly with domestic and international vendors to determine pricing, colors, fit and function, design, etc
- Support continuous improvement opportunities where identified
- 3+ years of experience in consumer product development, preferably within bath and beauty product
- Detailed oriented
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset
- Strong sense of ownership, proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for exceeding customer expectations
- Comfort in managing multiple projects, working with various cross functional groups
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Curiosity and vigor to learn, grow and challenge the status quo
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills in particular with Excel and PowerPoint
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:
Hybrid schedule - Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, with variation based on business demands.
PAY RANGE:
$70k - $75k
