Founded in 1956, L&R Distributors has been a leading national distributor within the supermarket, drug, independent and mass classes trade across the U.S. for over 65 years. We are one of the largest distributors and purchasers of cosmetics, health and beauty aids and general merchandise. We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more) through 3 regional distribution centers in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a temporary Sales Support Associate who will serve as a part of our Sales Execution division and will focus on supporting the customer sales team by executing internal and external initiatives with excellence. The temporary Sales Support Associate will be accountable for achieving and exceeding established KPI's. The selected candidate will report to the Sales Execution Sr. Manager. This temporary role is fully remote and anticipated to last between 3 to 6 months.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support account teams by submitting cost changes and corrections, enforcing data integrity.
• Lead and execute reset project work for respective customers, working with customer and internal cross-functional teams.
• Execute new store and remodel activities for respective customers.
• Support execution of all customer compliance issues (e.g., cost changes/corrections, short pays) and ensure corrections have been implemented within specified timeframes and enforce data integrity.
• Supports the accuracy of customer data and grid information internally and externally.
• Provide weekly reporting to the customer.
• Provide POS data reporting to the customer teams as needed to drive sales and successful execution.
• Develop strong working relationships with the customer that influence successful customer execution and drive customer compliance.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree and/or 2-3 years of business experience in consumer sales.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to identify issues and opportunities.
• Comfort in working on multiple projects, working with various cross functional groups, often at the same time.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills in particular with Excel and Powerpoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership, proactive, can-do attitude.
• Curiosity and vigor to learn, grow and challenge the status quo.
• Passion for exceeding customer expectations.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
(Eastern time zone strongly preferred)
PAY RANGE:
$26.44 - $28.85 per hour; 30-40 hours per week
